Expert Panel at Forum

During your afternoon break, between sessions, listen in as three seasoned hospice and palliative care professionals have a conversation about their personal experiences, what has sustained them throughout the years, and what they look forward to most as they continue on their hospice journey. The panel will discuss questions like:

  • How do you stay motivated?
  • What is the best piece of advice you ever received in your career?
  • In addition, they will address questions from you.

 

The panelists are:

 

 

 

Patricia A. Goodwin, ACSW, LCSW, ACHP-SW – Patricia has over 30 years of experience as a social worker in health care in a variety of settings. Pat has a special interest in the psychosocial/spiritual dimensions of end of life care, clinical and organizational ethics and organizational leadership development.

 

 

 

Rev. Greg Limongi, MDIV – Sixteen years ago, after completing a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Hospice of the Comforter, Greg went to work full time as a spiritual counselor at Samaritan Care Hospice in Orlando. Four years ago he returned to Hospice of the Comforter where he now works as chaplain for their inpatient unit.

 

Gail Malkenson, RN, CHPN – Gail has over 20 years experience in Hospice and Home Health care. Gail received her BS in Nursing at the University of Witwatersrand, and her BSC in Psychology at the University of South Africa. In 2010 Gail won FHPCA’s Barbara Janosko Award of Excellence in Leadership.

 

The panel will be on Thursday, 3:00pm to 4:15pm in the Florida Ballroom during the afternoon break.
